Retired Vancouver City Planner Larry Beasley's opinion of Downtown Vancouver Real Estate Market.

I had the pleasure of dining with Bob Rennie and Larry Beasley (retired Vancouver City Planner) last night. Ofcourse the topic of Vancouver Real Estate came up.

These are uncertain times for all.(Bob Rennie said it best when he said, we in B.C. are having a sympathy resession). But in reality, B.C. is still experiencing economic growth. We have 50,000 people a year moving to B.C. and there is a moritorium on residential buildings in Downtown Vancouver..There is very little new product coming on.

As I've always said, Downtown Vancouver is the Manhattan of Vancouver. People will always want to live here.  I personally believe it is a great time to look at getting into the market...If you understand the priciples of supply and demand, you will see that the demand for downtown real estate will soon exceed the supply. If you are thinking about purchasing real estate in Downtown Vancouver, please give me a call I would love to help you find that perfect home.
