Vancouver Property sales strengthen in current market cycle
Everyone always wants to talk real estate,and I love it. I thought some of you might want to know what is happening in the current market cycle. Although I specialize in downtown,yaletown,false creek north (which includes the Concord pacific lands) Gastown, and the West end of Vancouver, I have included data for all the lower mainland areas, As I know some of my readers own properties or are interested in other parts of the lower mainland.
New Listings of Vancouver homes fell (-8.94%) to 326 from 358. and this is the sixth week in the last eight that listings have fallen.
Sales were outstanding. up (+27.10%) to 272 from 214 sales of Vancouver homes. This is the fifth week of the last five that we’ve hit another new high for sales this year (and since last July) in the Vancouver real estate market.
Since Sales rose far more dramatically than Listings, this had an effect on the Sell/List ratio. The Sell/List ratio rose (+23.66) to a very strong 83.44% from the previous week’s 59.78%.
