Beasley 399 Smithe purchasers lined up to buy condo's
What Market slow down??? I am writing this blog on Thursday morning. Yesterday while speaking to a friend of mine who is working for Mac Bulk she informed me that there have been purchasers, lined up at the Beasley sales centre on Seymour, since Monday for the Saturday's grand openining..What!!!!!!!!!!!!
I personally think it is awesome...I went to the Beasley located at 399 Homer at Nelson to check it out myself and found the prices to be competitive, but not amazing by the time you factor in G.S.T. Even the loss leader at $219,900 isn't THAT great of a deal. It is 433 sq ft without parking. Ian Watt and I have a Studio listing right now at the Seastar at 1003 Pacific with parking for $249,900 http://www.realtor.ca/propertyDetails.aspx?propertyId=7988766 .
There is still confidence in our market, interest rates are the best they've been in years. Prices have corrected enough to make buying accessible to more people and it's time to get into the market.
