If you are looking for a great one bedroom unit for rental or to live in. Wall Centre in the heart of Downtown Vancouver has 3 great floor plans to choose from. The one bedrooms run up the building from the 4th to the 18th floor. The 02 units and the 09 units are the same floor plan 636 square feet with a enclosed balcony. The '02' unit is on the North West side of the building, while the '09' unit is on the South East side of the building. The '03' unit is slightly larger at 663 square feet and has a nice size outside deck. On the higher floors you have a peek-a-boo view of English Bay.
The '05' unit is my favorite unit. Larger yet at 687 square feet. It has a good size bedroom with an enclosed balcony that could be removed to make the bedroom larger. It also has a den and an outside balcony that gets west views and sunsets from the higher floors. They typically don't come up for sale that often, however there are a couple for sale at the moment.
As far as downtown Vancouver condo's are concerned I think that Wall Centre at 1050 Burrard is one of the best buildings in the city. The affiliation with the Wall Centre Sheraton Hotel, means you have access to all the hotel amenities, including room service, maid service and valet parking, As an owner or renter at Wall Centre you also have access to the Hotel fitness Centre, which is great.
